  • Read the latest "Cracking the Code" article by Richard P. O’Neil titled, “Not So Secret: Limitations on Attorney/Client Privilege for Individual Debtors in Possession.” Can a chapter 7 trustee in a case converted from chapter 11 waive the attorney-client privilege of an individual debtor with respect to communications with her attorney while she was a debtor in possession in a chapter 11 case? The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts recently answered that question in the affirmative.

  • The Bankruptcy and Insurance Law Manual is available through the online publications catalog. Written by ABI member Susan N.K. Gummow (Clausen Miller; Chicago), the Manual covers the basics of insurance law for the bankruptcy professional, as well as bankruptcy principles for the insurance professional.
