Annual Spring Meeting to Feature Endowment Events

Three special Endowment events will highlight the upcoming Annual Spring Meeting, to be held April 16-19 in Washington, D.C.

In addition to silent auction (see below), high-level donors will be honored at an exclusive dinner on April 17 at Joe’s Stone Crab restaurant, and will feature remarks from a member of Congress.

ASM will conclude with a special Endowment reception that will feature a meet-and-greet with conference entertainment Lou Gramm, former lead singer of Foreigner, following the Final Night Gala. ABI thanks Becket & Lee, LLP, Perkins Coie LLP, and Rust Omni for sponsoring this reception.

What the Fund Pays For

The ABI Endowment supports the annual Conrad B. Duberstein National Moot Court Competition, held each March in New York. The event, co-sponsored with St. John’s University School of Law, is the largest appellate moot court in the country, with 60 law school teams competing for Endowment-funded prizes. Also in March, the Endowment supports the Judicial Clerkship Institute at Pepperdine University Law School in Malibu, Calif., where new bankruptcy law clerks receive critical training on how best to prepare for their clerkship. These unique programs benefit from your generous gift to the ABI Endowment.
