President's column in the ABI Journal Focuses on the Endowment

In the November issue of the ABI Journal, ABI President Robert P. Reynolds kicks off his series of interviews of ABI vice presidents with a conversation with ABI’s Vice President-Development, Christopher A. Ward. This is a good primer for anyone unfamiliar with the work of the ABI Endowment. To read the full interview, click here.

Don't Miss the Endowment's "BAJA BASH" AT THIS YEAR'S WINTER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

You too could be "Sipping Under the Stars" if you sign up to attend the Endowment's "Baja Bash." Being held on Friday, Dec. 10, from 9:30-11:00 p.m. PT at the Terranea Resort in conjunction with ABI’s Winter Leadership Conference, the event, sponsored by Blank Rome LLP, Polsinelli and Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, will feature high-end-tequila tastings, Mexican beer and wine, margaritas, sangrias, and light Mexican snacks. The cost to attend is $100 per person; sponsorships are $2,500. Contact ABI Sales Manager Sharisa L. Sloan if you would like to sponsor this event. All proceeds benefit the ABI Endowment Fund.

Donors Recognized at NCBJ

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has pre-empted so many of our live meetings, ABI President-Elect Hon. Kevin J. Carey (ret.) was able to catch up on this backlog by presenting overdue awards to those who were in attendance at NCBJ's annual conference earlier this month. You can check out the award recipients — and pics from the conference — in the Inside ABI section of the ABI Journal's forthcoming November issue.

SILENT AUCTION AT WLC21

The Endowment will be holding a silent auction at the Winter Leadership Conference, sponsored by Reid Collins & Tsai LLP. If you have something you would like to donate, please contact ABI Sales Manager Sharisa L. Sloan at ssloan@abi.org. Don’t know what to donate? Possible items have been selected and are available for purchase at amazon.com under a special ABI Wish List. Contributing to the silent auctions, either through a donation or a generous bid, is a great way to support the ABI Endowment.
