ABI's Annual Spring Meeting is Just Around the Corner

We are just a month away from the Annual Spring Meeting's return as an in-person, live event, and the Endowment has a couple of activities planned for ABI's flagship meeting. First, we have a baseball event on April 28 (the first day of the conference). Head over to Nationals Park to see D.C.'s home team take on the Miami Marlins from a suite generously donated/sponsored by BakerHostetler/Don Workman. Tickets are $300 (which includes food and beverages) and can be purchased once you have registered for the conference.

Second, we will be running a silent auction throughout the duration of the conference. On this front, I am leading by example and providing two packages for conference-goers to bid on:

  • 2 tickets to the Polsinelli 15th Green Sky Box Suite at the 2022 PGA BMW Championship, being held at Wilmington Country Club in Wilmington, Del. (Aug 18-21).
  • A threesome with Chris Ward (Polsinelli) at Bayside Country Club in Fenwick Island, Del., including food and beverage, to take place on a mutually agreeable date.

If you have an item you would like to donate for the silent auction, please contact Sharisa Sloan. For ideas on items to donate, check out ABI's Amazon wish list. All proceeds benefit the Endowment. Thanks in advance for your support.

Lastly, ABI turns 40 years old this year. I hope you choose to be part of the celebration at this year's Annual Spring Meeting.

ANNUAL SPRING MEETING

NETWORKING & HOCKEY IN TAMPA

Endowment supporters gathered on March 29 (the first day of the Alexander L. Paskay Memorial Bankruptcy Seminar) to see the Tampa Bay Lightning triumph over the Carolina Hurricanes in overtime. A big "thank you" goes to Shumaker Loop & Kendrick LLP/Steve Berman for hosting the event in the firm's suite at Amalie Arena, to BakerHostetler for sponsoring, and to everyone who attended this fun event.
