Meet ABI's New Endowment Manager

Erin Green

In April, Erin Green joined the ABI staff as Endowment Manager. Previously, she was operations manager for the Department of Veteran Services, executive director of the Mid-Atlantic Paralyzed Veterans of America and adaptive sport program manager of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, among other roles. She has an M.S. in adaptive physical activity from Slippery Rock University and a B.S. in moderate to intensive special education from Cleveland State University. In her free time, Erin is a triathlete (she has completed multiple 70.3 Ironmans), and loves to cook and travel. In addition, she completed a Seattle-to-Portland bike ride in 2018, which was 205 miles of biking over two days, starting in Seattle and ending in Portland, Ore.

Endowment Supporters Enjoyed a Day of Baseball at Nationals Park in D.C.

Great things were happening at ABI’s Annual Spring Meeting before the conference even started! BakerHostetler and Don Workman hosted ABI members in BakerHostetler’s suite at Nationals Park ballfield in Washington, D.C., to benefit the Endowment. Participants enjoyed great food, snacks, drinks and baseball as they watched the Nats take on the Miami Marlins. Even more importantly, it was a great time to reconnect with friends and make new ones. Thanks to all for your contributions to the Endowment!

Don’t know what to donate? Possible items have been selected and are available for purchase at amazon.com under a special “ABI Wish List.” Pick out items for silent auctions that will be held at upcoming conferences, and be sure to place your own bids at those conferences. If you would like to donate an item, or for more information on the ABI Endowment, please visit abi.org/endowment/ways-to-give, or contact Endowment Manager Erin Green at egreen@abi.org.

Southeast Tequila-Tasting

The ABI Endowment will be hosting a tequila-tasting fundraising event at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island in Amelia Island, Fla., in conjunction with ABI’s Southeast Bankruptcy Workshop (July 21-24). The event, sponsored by Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP/Steve Berman, will feature high-end tequila samples. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
