BakerHostetler and Don Workman hosted an Endowment fundraiser in BakerHostetler’s suite at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., the evening before the start of the conference. A Thank You Note from Chris Ward
Christopher A. Ward (Polsinelli; Wilmington, Del.) was named ABI’s President-Elect during ABI’s Annual Spring Meeting in April after serving as ABI’s Vice President-Development. As he prepared to change ABI Board positions, he had this to say:
I have had the pleasure of serving on the Developments Committee since 2016 and as Vice President-Development since 2020. I was able to use that time to become familiar with a vast array of members of the ABI via fundraising events, virtual happy hours, and other networking opportunities provided by the ABI Endowment. But most importantly, I was able to learn more about the exciting research and other projects that the ABI Endowment funds, such as the Duberstein Moot Court Competition, the Veterans Task Force, and the scholarly research grants that benefit our entire membership. I am excited for Brad Sharp [Development Specialists, Inc.; San Juan Capistrano, Calif.] to take over leadership of the Developments Committee and continue the focus of fundraising to support these great grants and research projects.
