L.A. Wine Dinner Is Almost Sold Out!

We are excited to announce that the L.A. Wine Dinner is almost sold out! The event will be taking place from 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the Griffin Club in Los Angeles. This event had a great turnout last year, and we are expecting an even better turnout this year! The cost is $2,500 to reserve a full table (includes 10 tickets) and $1,250 for a half table (includes five tickets). If you are interested in sponsoring a table, please reach out to ABI Endowment Manager Erin Green at egreen@abi.org.

Alabama Firms Rally Together to Donate to the Endowment

Derek F. Meek of Burr & Forman LLP spearheaded a donation effort with nine other Alabama firms in July, successfully helping to raise $4,500 for the Anthony H.N. Schnelling Endowment Fund. “The Endowment is important to me and my firm for all that the Endowment does to further research and education in our industry,” he said. “When the Endowment receives support, each restructuring professional benefits, both individually and as a part of our larger restructuring community. Contributions to the Endowment just feel different when compared to checks we all write for things like membership dues or the costs of attending a conference. Giving to the Endowment is a great way to improve the profession and also a way to do more for the area of law and business that gives so much to each of us.”

The Level Up Campaign Is Underway

LEVEL UP

The ABI Endowment is a month into its Level Up Campaign, which runs until the end of September. We will be continuing to reach out to donors who are within reach of “leveling up” to the next Endowment donation level. Contributors who reach their next donation level by Sept. 30 will be entered into a raffle to win a 2024 Annual Spring Meeting registration (event will be held April 18-20 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.). There are several ways to donate, such as through an online pledge, ABI membership renewals (there is an optional line for donations when you renew) and planned-giving options.
