Onyx Coffee Lab is a coffee roastery dedicated to sourcing, roasting and serving the world’s highest quality coffee. It begins with traveling around the world and seeking out coffees that meet our high standards for score and taste. When coffees land at our HQ, we roast and cup daily, making minute adjustments to their roast profiles until the coffees shine in the cup. Onyx currently has four cafés in northwest Arkansas and ships coffee worldwide to partner cafés and customers.

A Martial Artist's Guide to Conflict Management

ABI member George Kelakos will share practical tools and techniques gleaned from his over 51 years of external and internal martial arts practice to help program participants manage stress and conflict in their lives and work. The program is interactive; George will guide participants through breathing and movement exercises (based on “natural” movement and walking), techniques for improving focus (“red thumbtack”), “rooting” and “centering,” situational awareness (being present), and how to stimulate blood circulation and “recharge your batteries."

Everyone will be encouraged to stand up from their chairs and follow along with George as he guides us through these exercises. He will take short breaks during the program so that participants may pose questions in the “chat” function, and he will try to address these questions during the program or in a subsequent Zoom program with participants who would be interested in learning more about these tools and techniques and how they can be applied to everyday life and to work situations.
