the Code" article by Jay Winston titled, Zero-percent
Financing and Cramdowns. A recent case (September 2003) from a bankruptcy
court in the Eleventh Circuit addressed the issue of zero-percent financing.
The debtor wanted to pay no interest, and the creditor objected. The
only issue was the rate of interest to be paid by the debtor in the
plan.
- The Bankruptcy
and Insurance Law Manual is available through the online publications
catalog. Written by ABI member Susan N.K. Gummow (Clausen Miller; Chicago),
the Manual covers the basics of insurance law for the bankruptcy professional,
as well as bankruptcy principles for the insurance professional. Other
